My fees follow the Standard Recommended Fee Schedule of the Australian Psychological Society, which can be found following this link: psychology.org.au
If you have a referral from a GP or other specialist under a Mental Health Care Plan, fees are reduced. Please check with Reception staff as to current fees as this is reviewed periodically.
Part of the fee charged is eligible for rebate under Medicare. Please check with Reception staff about current Medicare rebate allowances.
If you have a health care or pension card, I have a limited number of appointments available for reduced fees. Please discuss your request for reduced fees when you are arranging your initial consultation.
Payment
Payment is required at the time of consultation. We accept payments in the form of cash, EFTPOS or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). We are able to electronically process your Medicare rebate (if eligible) directly into your debit account (savings or cheque) after you have fully paid your account.
If your fees are being paid by a third party, such as an insurer or employer, please provide details when booking your appointment. If your compensation matter is currently under consideration, then you will be responsible for payments at the listed schedule until such time as your claim is approved.
Cancellation Fees
Please note: Due to increasing “no shows” or late cancellations that cannot be filled in time, a cancellation fee WILL be charged if you do not advise the Clinic at least 24 hours in advance, unless there are extenuating circumstances. You cannot claim a Medicare rebate for cancellation fees.
